Blade

Blade is a Dhampir — born half-human, half-vampire after his mother was bitten during childbirth — who has dedicated his life to hunting vampires. Possessing all the strengths of a vampire and none of their weaknesses, Blade operates in the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe. Created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan, he was one of the first Black superheroes in comics and was popularized by the 1998 Wesley Snipes film franchise.
