X-Force

X-Force is a black-ops mutant team originally formed by Cable as a more militant offshoot of the New Mutants. Unlike the X-Men, X-Force operates in the shadows, using proactive and sometimes lethal methods to protect mutantkind. The team has gone through many incarnations, most notably the covert kill squad led by Cyclops and Wolverine, and the roster built around Deadpool and Psylocke.
