X-Factor is a team with multiple incarnations in Marvel history. The original team was the five founding X-Men reunited under the cover of mutant hunters. Later, X-Factor became a government-sponsored team led by Havok. The most acclaimed version, written by Peter David, is a noir-inflected detective agency based in Mutant Town, featuring Madrox the Multiple Man, Strong Guy, and Siryn.
