Changeling

Changeling (Kevin Sydney) is a mutant shapeshifter who briefly impersonated Professor X while Xavier went into hiding to combat a Z'Nox invasion. He sacrificed his life as Xavier, with his death publicly mourned — one of the earliest retconned deaths in X-Men history.
