Maria Hill

Maria Hill is a career S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who rose to become Deputy Director and eventually Director of the organization after Nick Fury's departure. Pragmatic, hard-edged, and fiercely loyal to the mission rather than to any individual hero, Hill has been a key figure in Civil War, Secret Invasion, and numerous Avengers storylines. She is one of the most prominent non-powered characters in the Marvel Universe and a major figure in the MCU.
