The first appearance of Thanos and Drax the Destroyer, published in February 1973. Written by Jim Starlin with art by Mike Friedrich, this issue introduces the Mad Titan Thanos — the most powerful villain in the Marvel Universe — along with Drax, created solely for the purpose of killing Thanos.
