Alpha Flight #33 features the first cameo appearance of Lady Deathstrike, the cybernetically enhanced assassin with adamantium claws who becomes one of Wolverine's deadliest foes. A key Bronze Age issue from the height of the X-Men era.

Box is a powered armor suit used by various Canadian heroes, most notably Roger Bochs, who later merged with Madison Jeffries. As part of Alpha Flight, the Box armor provided heavy-combat capabilities and has been rebuilt and repiloted through multiple incarnations.
