Captain Britain, born Brian Braddock, is the United Kingdom's premier superhero — a Cambridge physics student chosen by the mystic Merlin to wield the Sword of Might and become Captain Britain. Empowered by the mystical Amulet of Right, Brian has superhuman strength and flight, and serves as the protector of the United Kingdom and the multiverse's Captain Britain Corps. His series by Alan Moore remains one of the finest British superhero comics ever produced.
