Fabian Cortez is a treacherous mutant with the ability to boost the powers of other mutants — and to kill them by overloading those same powers. He manipulated Magneto and later gained leadership of the Acolytes through betrayal, making him one of the most faithlessly opportunistic figures in X-Men history.
