Dazzler

Dazzler, born Alison Blaire, is a mutant pop star who can convert sound into light — using the music at her concerts to generate powerful laser blasts and light effects. One of Marvel's most unique characters, Dazzler was created as a cross-promotion with a real pop star (which fell through), but became a beloved figure in the X-Men universe in her own right. Her dual life as a performer and a mutant hero navigating prejudice gave her stories a distinctive voice.
