Iron Monger (Obadiah Stane) is Tony Stark's ruthless rival who took over Stark Industries through psychological manipulation before building his own massive Iron Monger armor. The primary villain of the first Iron Man film, his comics version drove Tony to alcoholism before their final confrontation.
