⭐ Key Issues

X-Men (1963) #1
First Appearance: X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, Angel), Magneto
The first appearance of the X-Men and Magneto. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced Professor Xavier's team of mutant students and their greatest nemesis in this landmark 1963 issue. One of the most valuable Silver Age keys — high-grade copies regularly sell for six figures.

Avengers (1963) #1
First Appearance: Avengers (founding team)
First appearance of the Avengers — Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Wasp unite for the first time. Written by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby. One of the most important team debut issues in Marvel history.
Loki Laufeyson is the God of Mischief, the adopted Asgardian son of Odin and biological son of the Frost Giant king Laufey. A master of sorcery and shapeshifting, Loki's schemes have ranged from petty mischief to cosmic catastrophe — including the inadvertent founding of the Avengers when Thor assembled a team to stop him. One of Marvel's greatest villains, Loki has also had periods of genuine heroism, most notably as a member of the Young Avengers.
