Man-Thing

Man-Thing, born Ted Sallis, was a biochemist who injected himself with a version of the Super-Soldier Serum and crashed into the Florida swamp, merging with the mystical nexus of realities to become the Man-Thing — a mute, shambling swamp creature that reacts to the emotions of those around it. Whatever knows fear burns at the Man-Thing's touch. Marvel's greatest horror character, Man-Thing guards the Nexus of All Realities in the Florida Everglades.
