The New Mutants are the next generation of Xavier's students — a team of teenage mutants trained at the Xavier Institute following the original X-Men. Created by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod, the team includes Cannonball, Mirage, Wolfsbane, Sunspot, and Magma. Their series explored younger, more vulnerable heroes still discovering their powers and identities.
