📚 Collector's Notes
The original Amazing Spider-Man run is essential Marvel reading. Stan Lee and Steve Ditko defined the character in the early issues, establishing Peter Parker's rogues gallery and moral code. The series hit its creative peak multiple times: the Ditko era (issues #1–38), the John Romita Sr. era, the classic Gerry Conway run including the landmark #121–122 (Death of Gwen Stacy), and later Roger Stern and Tom DeFalco runs. Start from #1 for the full experience, or jump in at #121 for the Bronze Age turning point.
