📚 Collector's Notes
Daredevil's original ongoing series is home to some of Marvel's greatest runs. The Stan Lee/Gene Colan early issues established Matt Murdock's world, but the title reached its creative apex under Frank Miller in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Miller's first run (#158–191) redefined the character with noir sensibilities, and his return for Born Again (#227–233) with David Mazzucchelli is widely considered one of the greatest superhero stories ever published. Ann Nocenti's run (#236–290) is also highly regarded.
