Doctor Strange, born Stephen Strange, is Earth's Sorcerer Supreme — the world's primary magical defender against threats from other dimensions. A brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon, Strange lost the use of his hands in a car accident and journeyed to the Far East seeking a cure, instead finding the Ancient One and devoting his life to mastering the mystic arts. He wields the Eye of Agamotto, the Cloak of Levitation, and virtually unlimited sorcerous power.
