Jubilee, born Jubilation Lee, is a mutant and former mall rat who joined the X-Men as a teenager after her parents were murdered. Her power to generate explosive plasma "fireworks" was for years considered minor, but her relationship with Wolverine — who served as a surrogate father figure — made her emotionally central to the X-Men. Later depowered and eventually turned into a vampire, Jubilee's journey from teenage sidekick to full hero is one of the longest arcs in X-Men history.
